Federal Fusions

Shoot a Fusion at 3400 FPS and get back to me.

None of my response had anything to do with performance of the Fusions, Deep Curls or Gold Dots, only that their construction was not as the OP claimed.....traditional cup and core. Since all of my hunting with centerfire platforms, is either with handguns or handgun caliber carbines, those Deep Curls and Gold Dots I'm pushing down the pipes will never see 3400fps. Speer's .45 cal, 300 gr, Deep Curl is my preferred deer hunting projectile from my .460. Has excellent accuracy and terminal performance. But then terminal performance was not the question asked in the OP, still, I can understand the caution about pushing them too hard in a rifle. Speer generally gives proprietary recipes for their Deep Curl/Gold Dot projectiles and advises against using other recipes for similar weight bullets of dissimilar construction. So if it was me, since Fusions are a Speer "bonded" type bullet, I'd go to Speer for the recipes, which is the answer to the question in the OP.
