Interesting reading. I have 2 guns that I carry off and on and all the time and they have been reliable 100% with anything put through them. ONe is my pet handgun and that is the Colt CCO, the early model. Over 2k rds of all sorts and not one malfunction of any kind. This is with dutch loads, +P, softball loads but for the most part 230 gr Hydra Shocks. At 25 yds it will shoot fist sized groups all day off hand and much better rested. At true distances of 7' to 12 yds I can put them all in the size of a silver dollar. The other is a .357mag. Rossi M972 2.5" barrel. Have had this gun for several yrs. Hasn't had as many rounds through it as the Colt but enough to prove reliability and loads that are accurate. 110gr .357's are the most accurate with Fed. 125 ghp's next. NO realy slop in the gun to speak of and it has the best SA pull of any rev. I have ever tried. Go figure on that one. A person should go with what they are comnfortable carrying. As for all the other guns mentioned and the guns of the HRT well don't have much of a comment on that I guess. Usually the weapon is only as good as its operator. As for my CCO and Rossi can't prove it by me that these don't and didn't make good guns. Keep'em sharp
