Most television is just inane chatter to me. My wife usually has something on while I'm reading magazines or books but I usually "switch off".

But there are some good shows out there and in the interest of finding more good ones I'm asking what ya'll like to watch.

My favs:

American Shooter

Tales of the Gun

"Battlefield" series on PBS (only catch it about once a month)

Sworn to Secrecy and Secrets of WWII

King of the Hill (goofy, I know)

The Spec Ops shows on Discovery

Am I missing any really good TV or is this everything worth watching?

Beavis and Butthead,
Daria,
King of the Hill,
Aeon Flux, [not on any more :( ]
Miami Vice, [Reruns]
That TNN show I was in,
Southpark,
Public Access, when nothing else is on.

Jack, watch the Sapranos, HBO Sundays at nine, tuesdays at nine or ten. It's the best show on tv. for the first time in my life, I agree with the critics. I'ts very violent, and very vulgar, but it is the only show that I have made an appointment in my daybook with! hehe

Having been without a TV since mid-August, I don't feel qualified to comment. But I will confess that when I was watching regularly, Tales of the Gun was at the top of the list, as were any Bonanza reruns I could find.

I'll watch LAW and ORDER with my wife on occasion.

Other than that, zip. The advertisements annoy the bejeezus out of me.

America's Most Wanted, Tales of the Gun and World's Wildest Police Video's.

And any show along those lines.

I am partial to:

Emergency!
Adam-12
ER
Third Watch
Whose Line is it Anyway?
Law and Order
The TLC shows: Trauma and Paramedics
X-Files (when it's not too wierd)
The Others (new NBC show - looks promising)

Simpsons, Tales of the Gun, American Shooter, and probably The Tom Green show, even though he seems like a jerk most of the time.

foxfire--

Excellent! I love the Weather Channel too! Of course, I'm a meteorologist, but that is by no means a requirement to watch. I've been watching it since gradeschool and have been a weather nut for just as long.

I also like the Simpsons, King of the Hill, Tales of the Gun, WKRP in Cincinnati, World's Wildest Police Videos, Everybody Loves Raymond, many of the Foxnews shows, like the O'Reilly Factor and Hannity and Colmes, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, etc.

win ben stein's money. the simpsons- futurama (beer and hookers!!)
homicide life on the streets (taken off the air due to ratings) and what have they put on in its place??? CRAP!!
x-files
the kim delaney show (oops nypd blue)
etc.

Cinemax and Showtime which I get for free because my cable company is to cheap to scramble them. Nothing better than getting something for nothing off those cable pirates! :D

You mean y'all watch something that ain't on the History Channel? I thought that was against the TFL policies.

TV??? Oh , you mean that other thing that looks like a 'Puter but doesn't have a keyboard. Yeah I remember that, turn it on once in a while, watch something called "Tales of the gun" and sometimes watch a video on it. Should throw the damn thing out!
