Favorite Semiauto caliber????

How bout the 50BMG??? Now that's a round. :D

Otherwise I'd go with... I don't know I love em all. I'm sorta like a foster parent to all guns. Maybe the 357 sig, it has good fps good kentic energy and it's a 38 lead.
On the other hand the 45 is proven time and again and it's a solid round.

Best wishes Best luck Poacher.

My favorite caliber/cartridge is the 9mm parabellum launched through my Glock 26 (well DUH!!) Why, it's cheap, and it works!! Any of you boulder spitting power freaks care to step in front of me while I fire off some of those "minor caliber" rounds in your general direction, mmmmmmm???? ;) :p

It's a toss up, between the .45ACP and the
9X19. The .45 because it's a man size, proven
BG stopper; the 9X19 due to the worldwide
availability of the ammo.

I was recently told by a friend that I have a "Pathological predisposition to the 45 ACP cartridge."

I don't disagree, but I'm just trying to figure out if that was an insult or a complement.

9mm.

Cheap enough to practice with. A lot.

I get enough practice with it that I shoot my 9mm's better than I shoot my .45acps.

Putting the first shot in the X ring is what matters most isn't it?

Take the long way home...

10mm then the 357 sig. Power and speed, what more do you need?

.40! It has been shown to do the job of the .45 (maybe better), and I get 3 more rounds out of my sig P226 than the 220 .45. All Sigs are very accurate.

In order 45acp, 9mm, 357 Sig, 32acp, and 40 S&W. (I guess I should have read the why part!) 45acp, is accurate, I like big bores, and easy to reload. 9mm is cheap to shoot and will get the job done. 357 Sig is a hoot to shoot (you can't believe the flame fom my Glock 27.) 32acp accurate and easy to reload. 40 S&W is last as I have a harder time getting it to shoot well. World-wide avaliability. Better chance of getting through soft armor. Used in most SMGs.

agreed.

I like the 9mm. Ammo cost less, and it has less recoil than the 40 or 45, making it easier shoot and cheeper Yet load the same gun with +P and you have a very good combat round.
