Favorite Revolvers?

My favorite is an SP101 357 magnum with smith polished and tuned trigger and Pachmayr rubber non-finger grooved grips.

But I love all of my Smith revolvers, too.

Great Pics. Looking at all of them, I realize how much I love the classic look of the S&W's. I can't pick a favorite. I love my 586 and my 29 for shooting, and the 29 classic DX is a 1 of 3000 that I just can't bring myself to shoot!

Favorite?

This question took a bit of thought.... I have a fair number of S&W revolvers (the autos don't come to mind when I'm asked this sort of question anyway) and all have their good points.

I guess my favorite would have to be the one I most often carry... which is an M28 4". I realize the K frame is lighter to carry (and at times I do carry a M66 2.5" or a M60/357...mostly when feeling lazy) The M28 with it's heavy frame seems easier to shoot accurately for me at least, than the smaller guns. The M28 to me seems to be mechanically the same as my M27s, but with a more durable finish.

Honorable mention woul go to the M624 4" I carry from time to time when the urge strikes me....

FWIW

I'm mostly not a revolver guy but...

man I love the way S&W j frames fit my tiny hands. When I head to the range for fun and noise, my shooting box is full of plastic pistols and LOTS of ammo. In my nightstand is a presellout model 60.

Favorite Wheelgun

Mine would have to be my Model 14-3 Smith. This gun makes me "appear to know how to shoot"!

"......and I am a Redhawk addict."
My GP's are pissed.

Something about my Decelerator/Millett-sight Redhawks, they feel soooooo right.
Ahhhhhhhhhh......................

I like my autos; I love my wheels.
