Hello. Like some of you, I shoot automatics mostly, but do like wheelguns, too.
The favorite of revolvers I own is a 6 1/2" bbl S&W 24. This .44 Special's quite accurate, easy to shoot, and easy to reload for. With "honest" .44 Spec handloads and certain factory rounds, it's capable of handling anything needing handling here in Texas. I also like its classic look.
The favorite that I don't own as I foolishly let TWO of them get away over the years is the S&W 5" bbl M27.
My favorite carry revolver is a well-worn S&W M042 (essentially just a M442) that I carry with ease in a Galco pocket holster.
A snub that I likely won't carry as it's pristine and I just enjoy shooting and owning it. It's a LNIB Pre-71 Colt Agent .38 Special:
Which revolvers are your favorites in this era of automatics?
Best and thanks in advance for taking the time to respond.
PS: I'm pretty darned fond of this old M19, too.
