Favorite Revolver That You Have No Need For

It came at a good price, had really crappy grips on it at the time, so I got some Tru-Ivory with my initials on them. It's the Uberti repro of General Patton's Colt SAA. Not often carried, but nice to look at.

My favorite is a SRH 7.5 IN 454.But I use it all the time.
But My Python not so much,Much rather use one I can count on the Python has failed a couple of times so really no use for it other than to own it. Shame but true.

got a couple wheel guns...

favorites that have no specific "working" purpose...

& come on... my Ruger Alaskan in 454 is a working gun... to carry when camping in bear country :)

anyway probably my favorite ( today ) would be my customized Taurus Raging Hornet, that was fitted with a 6" Dan Wesson barrel shroud, & 6" of 1 in 9" twist 223 barrel... I can now load up to 68 grain bullets in the 22 Hornet case, the big cylinder hold 8 rounds, the gun was fitted with a Williams fiber optic ghost ring rear sight, & a custom orange fiber optic front sight, & wears a custom modified camo laminate wood finger groove grip... it's just totally cool to shoot... BTW... it has a custom flash hider / comp / barrel nut, that directs the sound away from the shooter

this pic taken before the fiber optic sight install...

Mine would be my Python's...I have 3 of them, and the following picture is the only one I shoot...and even then not very often (I keep my 686 for a range gun to take the incidental damage from being knocked around).

Probably a "cut" Webley Mk VI that I inherited from my father. I'm leery of shooting it with .45 ACPs in moon clips because I've read that .45 ACPs have a pressure roughly equivalent to .455 proof loads.

Likely I need to get into reloading and build custom loads on .45 Auto-Rim cases for it. In the meantime, I've got other guns to shoot. :)
