Mauser copy Super Azul is a lot of fun to shoot, control fades quickly though on any but the shortest burst, stock needed for any control at all. The Chinese used to turn this type of weapon sideways to traverse on Japanese up close....
It made a carbine at longer ranges...... The little Trejo pistols are tremendous fun to shoot in .22LR, makes an MG42 sound slow by comparision, Blaaaat......
The 7 round mag of the Modelo 1 vanished in a heartbeat..... The 10 round mag of the Modelo 2 Especial a hair longer....... 7 to 10 rounds of .22LR in 1/3 of a second up close would likely hit like a load of buckshot with less wear and tear on the hand and wrist.......
