Nice shooting handgun.

My Alexander Henry Sporting Rifle in .577-.450 Martini-Henry with the left hand, external hammer, lock (doesn't interfere with right hand loading of next round).

My 1950's vintage Colt 1911 .38 Super. I've been shooting this gun for 20 years and at 100 yards or less I'm as good with it as with a rifle.

Winchester model 21, 12ga.
.405 Winchester double by Griffin&Howe
Smith&Wesson 19-3, 6"

Sam...latchin your beard in the seatbelt is not a good way to start the day.

Smith & Wesson "N" and "K/L" frames.

Single action revolvers....particularlly older Colts.

Lever action rifles.

I guess one could say I go more for utility and nostolgia than glamour. ;)

I was promised a Shortycicle and I want a Shortycicle!

Carry gun, HK P7M8, why...

I like 9mm, I'm comfortable with 9 rds, it's slim and hides well, built like a bricks**t house. :D

All around plinking,

General Electric M61A1 Vulcan 20mm, why... :D

Six barrels! 100 rounds per SECOND! projectile velocity 2,952 feet per second, effective range 6,000 feet.

The F/A-18C's come fully eqiuiped with 570 rounds HE/ICD 20mm and believe me my friend, it's just as effective on tanks, APC and other assorted gound fodder as the GAU-8/A 30mm the Warhog is strapped to! I speak from experience, 1 T-72, 3 BTR-60's and a GCT to my kill list, plus numerous cars, boats, tractors, ice cream trucks, police cars (Sorry LEO's) and even a fire engine!

Remember the Wadi Al Batin Road, Northern Kuwait?

Made famous by the "Kuwaiti Highway Patrol" (The 57th FG driving A-10's). I raised my share of hell there as well...

ALL of them, of course! Especially a turn of the century .22 Stevens Favorite, totally rebuilt by yours truly from a bare action I found a a gun show with both trigger and hammer sear surfaces broken off. Now it wears nice varner reproduction walnut and a remington mod 552 barrel and handmade trigger and hammer ( with oversizeed deep-checkered spur to accommodate my arthritic thumb) The Stevens Favorite has to be one of the most graceful designs ever!

All the ones I own ;) Never met a gun I didn't like :)

Three for Texas:

Winchester Model 12 12 gauge 28" modified
(If it flies, it dies.)

Winchester Model 70 pre '64 .30-06
(With proper bullets, appropriate for any critter on this continent.)

Colt's Single Action Army New Frontier, 5 1/2" bbl. .44WCF
(Adequate for deer with hot loads, perfect for plinking with light loads, one-shot stopper for self defense with damn near any load.)

And all three have pretty wood and deep blue metal....

My favorite is the 30mm gatling on the A-10. 40,000 rounds in 11 seconds :D

How did you go from handguns to airplane cannons?

Personally I like the USP Compact in .40 cal
and the Sig 229 in .357sig. Both shoot very well and carry well too.

Browning Hi-Power MkIII - perfect ergonomics, good trigger that can be made great with a little work, slim, easy to handle, accurate, looks good. And it's a 9mm!!

Heckler and Koch P7M8 - nice concealed carry gun, wish I had one. Very slim, natural pointer, stone reliable.

FN-FAL - "The Free World's Right Arm!!" The first time I shot a FAL, I put out a five-inch, twenty-round group, off the bipod, using crappy Malaysian surplus ammo, at 225 yards, in under sixty seconds. I was in love.

Remmington 1100 LT20 - The smoothest-handling scattergun I've ever had the pleasure of owning.

Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 - My favorite bolt gun. What can I say, I like Mauser-style actions. You pick the caliber.

There are others, but these are my favorites.

Chris

My old .22 LR from Ward's, which my father bought about 1930. Great plinking and squirrel gun.

My Ithaca model 37. Reliable, powerful, easy to change barrels.

My Ruger Security Six (6" barrel). The most accurate pistol I own, can handle a great variety of loads.

Most good "combat" handguns make me happy.

Amongst rifles, Enfields (dripping with history) and AK's (the most functional slapped-together chunk of sheet metal and plywood around).

In the "fantasy" category, the MP-5K and MP-5K PDW. Just the swoopiest looking guns around.

Lastly, in the "Shootable collectables" category, the Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" and the Trapdoor Springfield; no other old guns invite diddling around with the action just to hear the noises and watch the pieces move and, in the case of the Mauser, disassembly and reassembly just to admire it's screwless "Chinese puzzle-box" construction.

10mm: It's not the size of the Dawg in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog!

Glock 19
Ruger Speed Six 357
FAL
Mossberg 590
Ruger 10/22
Ruger MK II

After much though I settled on these guns for my battery. I can not think if very many situations that can not be negotiated with one or more of these guns. Most are classics and fine examples of their types. When I have em all out at once I get all gitty like a school girl.

Browning A-Bolt W/Boss 7mm-08
shoots .25 Groups all day long some well under

Remington 788 in 44Mag
Just a neet little gun

I must really be a "gun nut". I like all firearms. From the so called "SNS" to the so called "assult rifles". I have collected / gathered many firearms during my years of life. I do have some that I call "special" due to the looks or the fire power. Others I like because I own them. They are mine, many are non-pc (which makes them "special" in their own right), many are expensive, and many just look "cool". I couldn't just "choose" just one or two. I can't "give up" any due to PC bullsh!t. My guns are like my family, I can't "love" or "cherish" one over the other. They all have their own personnalities, their own quirks. Same as my cars, my animals. Each has it's own place... some for SD, some for target, some for hunting, and yes, I do have a few for when TSHTF, G-d forbide that happens. Some are good for learning.. engraving, smithing, etc.. Some are for history, to hold it in my hands.. and guesstimate what it was used for, how many people trained on it, did it save someones life at one time? I have no true "favorite" firearm... and I wish to have more so that they too may join my family, have a good home, and be pampered no matter what.
