Fastest trigger reset

Well, I'm sitting here with my P7 and my G20 right now and I you guys are right. The Glock is much shorter, looks like about .25" to the P7s .5" (guesstimate). I guess the P7 is just so smooth it's deceiving. Changing my vote to 1911 and Glock. Never shot a P99.

My S&W 3913. The single action reset on that gun is awesome. My Kimber Classic Custom (non-series II) doesn't even come close to it.

I owned a wather and did not notice its reset being that short. I would say 1911 is the quickest followed by glock. The worst is the HP and sigs.

The LEM usp is a DAO gun with with a preset hammer spring you have to let the trigger all the way forward that not fast.

Can't believe that nobody has mentioned the Smith 52. The trigger has so little overall movement, there's almost nothing to reset.

I own a Walther P99, a Kimber 1911 and a Beretta 92, my S&W 52 beats them all. Hell it beats my High Standard, my S&W41 and my trailside in that department.

In terms of defense firearms, I am able to shoot the 92FS the quickest, although a buddies old Sig 225 is damn close (and more accurate during quick firing to boot). My P99 is in .40S&W so that might be slowing me down a bit.
