Fantasy time!!

'Dreams' are the subconscious mind using your brain for a speed-bag, while you're asleep and unable to duck punches.

Mine take me here, so it's not all bad ;)

Stainless Gary Reeder Custom Ruger Blackhawk in 356 GNR with an addtional 357 mag cylinder. 6 inch barrel, Gold dot front sight and a V-notch rear sight. Stag grips.

If I can't have that, I'll take a Reeder Pro Hunter Blackhawk in 357 Max. Scoped with 10 inch barrel. Sights deleted.

but I reckon my wants is a Colt New Frontier .45 Colt, 4 3/4" barrel
Pretty close to mine.... But with 5 1/2" barrel. My Ruger medium frame Flattop .45 Colt revolver comes pretty darn close though already.... If it just had the OM action without the transfer bar, it would be 'perfect'. This is pure fantasy obviously as it isn't goin' to happen in today's sue happy society.

Samaritan revolver; Canon-Ayoob L frame....

I was reading over the Hellboy www.imdb.com listing & it says the huge revolver could break a normal size man's arm.
My second "fantasy" revolver would be a new/unfired Canon-Ayoob L frame .357magnum. This classic 1980s era custom duty gun was produced by Montana pistolsmith; Andy Canon. Author & tactics trainer Massad Ayoob consulted on the R&D. It had a 4" barrel & was based on the S&W L frame 686.
Andy Canon past away several years ago & these custom defense revolvers are no longer in production. :(

Another fav would be the S&W .45acp revolver Indiana Jones uses. ;)
That would be a smart carry gun for the era. It's powerful, compact & uses a caliber that's easy to find/buy; .45acp. A 1911a1 would be better in some ways buy semi-autos of that era were prone to jams & misfires due to poor quality ammunition.

I recently bought the Single-six .32mag I've wanted for years and am ordering the sideplate I need to put my Police positive special .32-20 back in action next week. So I guess if I survive the next two weeks I could die happy :)

The Single six really did it for me, the .32-20's just a bonus.

Id rather send my two revolvers into S&W
s Custom shop and have them Factory tuned to their spec's!
Who'd know how to make a S&W run, who better than the guya qho engineered it?
They'd be REAL Dream guns!

I want a 640-1 with a 1.875 inch barrel that has an under lug and pinned front sight. I know I'm not very adventurous but the heart wants what it wants

I'd like an SA revolver in .44 Mag. Not sure of the barrel length. No more than 7.5 inches!!

I suppose FA springs to mind for the pedigree, but I'd be happy with Ruger as, in reality, I'd be able to get more parts for that, here.

Ruger SP100 in a 5 shot 44 special.
One each adjustable sights, non adjustable sights
One each 3 inch and one 5 inch.
