Wally world, LGS, Sporting Goods store, Midway USA, etc. I don't use it by the gallon, I use it a drop or two at a time. Why, when people have no problem spending $700-$800 or more on a gun do they worry about the price per gallon of something that is used by the drop, or soaked patch full?
Each to his own, but I don't get it!
Hoppe's has worked well for over 100 years. Gun oils can run from a buck or two a bottle for something similar to 3 in 1 "sewing machine" oil to high price synthetics. I've been shooting, and cleaning guns for over 50 years, and haven't seen a need to make up a special "witch's brew" for cleaning and lubricating them.
BTW, if you drink bottled water, which is all just purified tap water, how much per gallon is that? You pay for the convenience, and container!
