Glenn, I disagree. Capitalization does make evidence, and turns any statement into fact. Example:

See. It's a fact, and its own supporting evidence, now. ;)

Actually I have fired a few of these and own a few more... Its not that they didn't impact but they seriously were underwhelming. Plus it seemed to be impossible to know what result you were going to get... That's why I carry DPX, Critical Duty or Gold Dots depending on the particular gun... Consistent performance matters...
 
I did an a live fire anti-terrorist match with really realistic targets.

My 62 grn FMJs worked just fine. And when they didn't, well, sometimes we had on call CAS.

What I've always wanted is some of those 12 ga shells that have two balls with a piece of chain connecting them....that is what the real "operators" use.

I made the OP. I recall the topic but never really got the straight dope.

By the by, it's somewhat moot. These "munitions" :rolleyes: didn't seem to live up to expectations in the 2000s.
There are still a few frangible & "exotic" handgun loads in the USA that seem destined for ExtremeShock's fate but we'll let nature run it's course.

I won't name names but feel free to post a few guesses if you desire.
