S Superhouse 15 New member Feb 8, 2011 #22 I have read that the EFMJ (now called "Guard Dog" by Federal in civilian loads) uses a different polymer in the military loadings. It is able to be seen on Xray easier so that a polymer fragment could be found and removed by a doctor.
