Went to pick up my Cimarrons yesterday (purchased Sep 30, just before Paris Glendenning's latest attack on the law-abiding went into affect) and was told that, even though the paperwork had come back from the state police and the store was open, I couldn't take them home because I hadn't waited the requisite five business days.
grrr...
Got me thinking, on the drive into work this morning -- if they can outlaw "look alikes" of the "evil assault weapons", why is a near-exact copy of an 1873 Colt Peacemaker not considered an antique for the purposes of sale and transfer (remembering, of course, that guns manufactured prior to 1900 are considered "antiques," not firearms, and as such don't have all the prohibitions)?
