I have an I.O. inc AK-47 that is everything I wanted..But I just can't become attached to it. I love the AK platform and have others, but after getting this one..I just cant LOVE it..

Its reliable, and Minute of Bad guy accurate as an AK should be..maybe its the Galil handguard, I dunno..But either way I am thinking of trading or selling at the local gun show this weekend...But on the other hand, I can't think of anything to take its place...

Ever been in such a quandry?

Yes. FN FS2000. High tech 21st century Buck Rogers for sure, but, I just don't like it. It's hard to just grab hold of. Feels clumsy to me.

Well, my Rem 11-87 has a rifled barrel, does that count?

Never liked the gun, never wanted it, only bought it because it was a legal requirement (shotguns) for deer hunting. Hate shooting it, never do for fun, only for sighting in and shooting deer.

I guess you could say it hasn't grown on me.

If it doesn't grow on me...it gets gone. I thought it would hurt me to sell off a 91/30 PU Sniper and Finn M28/30, but it didn't. And that was just to simplify my caliber situation.

MSAR E4 (AUG clone)

I really wanted to like this rifle. The ergonomics are interesting and it looks cool, but...

I can't get fired up about it any more. Haven't even test-fired it since it came back from factory service for a cracked stock and a mag-release upgrade. The worst of it is the magnificent ACOG that I put on it has hardly been used. I'll have to slap it on something else.

I may sell it, but I want to take it to the range at least one more time to give it a last chance to grow on me.

I built up a Savage 110 with a Choate stock, timney trigger, harris bipod, leupold rings... and a Nikon monarch scope.... and I just never warmed up to it. Parted it out and sold it.

10/22.

Finniky with ammo, sloppy action to stock fit, jams...

I use it, but I would trade it off in a heartbeat if the right deal came along.

Savage model 93-17, super accurate, good quality laminated stock, but just
don't enjoy shooting it, odd since I do like the 22 LR I have.

the F2000 is a bit of a failure. I hear the french prefer the famas, and American civilians have the same quandary you have;

Looks like its from star trek, but its just clumsy and goofy.

Im a borderline FN fanboy, and i think the F2000 is just plain not cool or effective.

Ruger 10/22

It was light to carry and shot dime groups off the bench at 50 yds but I couldn't hit the side of the barn with it offhand. I sold it and have never looked back.

Remington Viper.

The mag is right where my support hand wants to be.

That and the blocky zytle receiver. YEEESH!

The innards are more complex than any 22 lf needs to be. I can hold the receiver foe my 10/22 in my front pocket. The Viper? About 7 inches long. two sears, lots of springs. Talk aabout over built and over complicated.

It does shoot very well. Just a butt ugly mutant of a gun.

I wanted a Nylon 66 but they had been replced by the viper. I didn't want to buy a used gun, so I compromised.

Yeah, I don't do that no more.

Yep had a Savage model 12 BVSS 22-250 shot very good 1/2" with various bullets and powders, trigger was OK the adjustments didn't do that much for it. I just could not get used to the bulk, there was not any thing refined about it. However I'll give it this it did shot very well.

My typical Yugo 48A Mauser.

I simply don't like the iron sights, and haven't used it in about a year.
It is really a shame, with such cheap, powerful ammo.

The Yugo and Czech ammo might not remain so cheap when the economy actually recovers.

My lack of shooting skill with it is the only reason it is for sale FTF only, Memphis area.

Back in 1993, I ordered a barreled action "Mark X" in .270 win, and dropped it in a 100.00 synthetic,(of some sort) and put a Tasco 4-power on it.

That thing was doomed from the get go, I mounted the bases,(which probably was installed incorrectly) I mounted the rings, (they were probably loose) and loaded ammunition for it with only a basic load, (no load development) it would never group less than two inches at one hundred yds, so I sold it for what I had in the action......:o I could really kick myself when I think of what it could of been......:mad:

That would have to be the FAL. Had one, but sold it cause it just didn't do anything for me. I constantly compared it to my M14.
