ever forget your tumbling brass?

Been there and done that!
However, after reading about a tumbler or two that caught fire, I now plug it into a cheapie timer and set it for 8 or so hours and polace it in the middle of the garage so on the far off chance something ignites it will not have an abundant source of fuel --like my reloading room or house:eek:

Hammerhead,

I'm with you. I must not be running my tumbler long enough to clean the inside. I get good results on the outside. Someone posted they actually get the primer pocket somewhat clean by running a long time. But, I'm ready to start up my ultra-sonic cleaner now that I know it has the heating feature. I want to check the results against some 45 Colt I'm tumbling now.

Whisper300 - Great idea with the timer. Glad I thought of it.

Who hasn't?

I've left the vibratory tumbler on for 3-4 days before. NO biggie, brass was shiny and clean.

I got one of those cheap timers now that you plug into the wall and plug the tumbler into it - set it for 3 hours with my rotary tumbler and come back sometime later. I think I paid about $8 for the timer.
