There was a time when I would have let this slide. No question the NRA is the #1 pro-gun organization in the world. I’m not disputing that.
But if someone insults me and millions of people I identify with and then sticks their hand out, expecting me to put my money in it, that’s not gonna happen.
I live by certain principles and accepting an insult from someone who sure as hell ought to know better violates those principles.
I don’t expect everyone to agree with me. I can live with that.
I seriously doubt the NRA will fail or we’ll all lose our guns because I’m sending my money to the SAF.

I am going to write the NRA and if they don't fire her, I'm renouncing my life membership.

That is certainly your right, however, remember that when take your ball and go home, because you got upset at something another player said, you are out of the game!

If you resign, your NRA vote loses any ability to change things.

ALSO, consider this, by lashing out at the NRA, you are doing the same thing our opponents do, declaring the majority guilty due to an act of the minority.

personally, I think the line from STRIPES applies here...

I think you point has validity, but your proposed reaction does not.

"godless left" and "Godless Communism" have been phrases used in political commentary since the days of the Iron Curtain, probably much longer.

If you step in a cow pie, you don't boycott the Steakhouse because they serve beef...
