I've got no problem with protecting the environment, as long as that protection doesn't involve the Federal Gov. buying said land and restricting its use to nothing more than sight seeing. The hunting and weapons restrictions we see in today's federally (and constitutionally illegally) owned lands is nothing more than liberal, socialist policy. I can't stand someone who will interupt and endanger a hunter because they feel sorry for Bambi. This is the type of eco-dumbsh@#$t I'm talking about. I'm all for keeping the rivers pure and forests natural. I just don't want it done in such a way that it can't be enjoyed anymore.
