Dumbest gun deal you ever did

Hello. The very dumbest trade I ever made was a couple of decades ago when one could hardly get S&W Model 66 revolvers. Anyway, I traded a SIG P210-6 for one. I also got a knife and some cash, but it was still a very dumb trade. Best.

Futo Inu can appreciate this one...

I sold two vintage weapons from my family's farm collection and put the procedes down on a...you guessed it...a Llama .45. This gun would would shoot consecutive 3 shot groupings of 7 inches at only 7 feet. After clearing the stove pipe, it would shoot three more 7 inch groups at the same distance! Talk about consistent!!!

To all you young people out there purchasing your first gun...dont trade anything that was past down in your family to fund the purchase. And dont buy cheap! They're cheap for a reason. Hope you all have learned from my stupidity.

Dumb?
Sold a Dan Wesson .357 Magnum Pistol Pac.
Sold a M1 Garand.
Sold a M1 Carbine.
Sold a Colt Mod. 70 .45
Sold a Llama .38 Super Auto (sentimental value-my first handgun-shot very well though)
Sold a S&W Model 29.
Sold a Colt Diamondback
Sold a Colt Undercover
Sold a mint WWII Walther P-38
Most of these were to buy other guns but I miss them.

Today, I am very careful about what guns I buy but when I buy-I keep. I don't sell and I don't trade.
