Dry firing auto pistols

I dry fire quite a bit. Broke a firing pin on a HK 45c. Others have too. Doesn't seem to be an issue with other HK's. Unless I'm shooting Glocks, which I like to shoot (hell, haven't found too many guns that I don't like to shoot), I've taken the caution of using snap caps when dry firing. Cheap insurance if you might really need the gun. Dry firing, and visualization, is very, very good practice. Glock apparently says it's OK to dry fire their guns. Gotta love Glocks .... and 1911's, and HK's, and Sigs, and those S&W revolvers, and Maks, and .... You get the picture. ljlc
