Driving to Mexico from the US.... and carrying?

Wikipedia World Map of Political Corruption

Why do you suppose that thirteen +/- MILLION decent hardworking citizens of a country would choose to sneak illegally into a hostile foreign country where they have to work at the worst jobs and are otherwise treated like dirt? That says a lot. These people are voting with their feet. Learn by their example and never cross that border!

Speaking just as a political philosopher and with no negative connotations against the Mexican government this is one of the reasons that the RKBA is so important. In a nation where people are allowed to have private legal firearms the government cannot trespass too greatly on their civil rights without fear of lethal retaliation. But in a nation where the RKBA is repressed then the government can do whatever it wishes, starving its people into submission or holding them in bondage without any fear. Is it any wonder that states like California and New York which have such repressive firearms laws also have so many poor people all crowded together with so little hope of advancing themselves?

This thread was a bad idea from the start. It seems straightforward enough, but once the answer was given that it would be treated as a domestic felony, all discussion becomes moot at that point. And we're not so much about "what if..." scenarios in this forum.

Closed. Nothing good can come of this.
