Got my DRAQCO Micro in today..I have a Hogue grip and tapco triggers coming to complete it.

I had it's (slightly) bigger brother. Traded it for a Ruger Blackhawk convertible. Now, when I wish to annoy my fellow shooters, I have a 7" AR pistol w/ a shark muzzle break.

For the ballistic performance you can expect from that barrel length, you'd be better off with a Glock .40 and the biggest mag. available for it.

Judging by the OP's past threads, I doubt performance was at the top of the tick list when buying the Draco. That is in no way a slight against peggysue who has a collection of "fun guns" I greatly envy. So, will this one get shot?

I didn't think the x39 suffered such a great loss of velocity like the x45 to male people question it's lethality. Thought it was close to par with the BLK from a short barrel. Correct me, I could be totally wrong, but wouldn't a .311 130gr bullet going 1800FPS beat out a .355 124gr going 1050FPS?

Thanks for the understanding. I really want to pump some round thru it.
I have accumulated much. My AK's as of today:
4 Romanian in all Variations
1 Chine NMH 91 replace butt hole stock and parts
1 Yugo AK folder- grenade launcher
1 FEG Hungarian AK
1 Romanian 11" DRACO
1 Romanian 6" Draco
Not including my Saiga 12GA, Galil , CZ, Daewoo and a Valmet Sporter. Also many many accessories, mags and ammo. I sould take an AK family photo. LOL
Interesting what one can accumulate over 40 years of constantly buying. An addiction.
With my CCW I've had for same amount of time I usually only carry my COP 357 derringer or my old worn finish Colt 38 Cobra Lightweight subbie. I am not in a violent part of the USA.

I'm confused about the comment on a .40 being better than a short barrel 7.62x39 myself lol. I'd rather get hit with a .40 out of a carbine than a 7.62 out of a 7.5 inch barrel lol. Even the Draco mini manages 1900fps and x39 hollow points are readily available  The Draco's are totally fun guns. I tried out the standard Draco pistol once and loved shooting it. The micro looks just as fun enjoy it I hope to purchase it's slightly bigger brother for myself in the future.

If you are getting a 130gn bullet going 1800fps then the 300blk performs a little better. 125gn @ 2000-2100 from a 9" barrel. The big difference is going to be in flash and blast. The 300blk is using mostly pistol powders so is going to be more efficient outta the shorter tubes.

But, darn if that aint a good looking little fella.

But 300blk ammo and the platform in AK would cost a lot more than the Micro DRACO in 7.62X36 and it would do as much damage to the target. Say twice the price in a non-existent AK platform.

I've got the Tapco sent on its way already. I have them in my other WASR's . On this Micro I don't need a hair trigger for my range toy. Thanks for the advise.
Put a AK slant compensator on it and a sling mount I had.. A little detailing too. Looking good Bum.
Just waiting for the new Tapco Trigger Group.

I picked up a M92 AK Pistol - 2 weeks ago. Already have it outfitted. Fun gun!
It was having trigger reset issues with the factory trigger. Turns out disconnector spring was cut in 1/2. I replaced the spring and changed out the FCG for a Tapco G2. Good to go.

Your micro looks good. I went with a Shockwave Blade Stabilizer on this pistol. I have to install the StormWerks folding AR works yet. Maybe today. I am always hesitant when I drill holes into the receiver..

I took the easy route on this one, had the gunbroker dealer who I bought it from drill the receiver and install the arm brace assembly.

He was already set up to do it.

I'm really tempted to buy a couple more of these and put them away as future investments. I just don't see these going down in value.

IIRC the folding arm brace assembly (note how I phrase that...) is from Bone Steel.

I had an Ace side folder on one of my AK rifles years ago and have to say this Bone Steel one is much easier to operate compared to the Ace.

Between the shockwave and the Sig, the shockwaves has it beat hands down. It os not only cheaper, but looks way better IMO and has a ten position adjustable tube, did I mention It's cheaper too, not just by a little. Although I do think the improved the look some with Gen2 Sig

I understand that opinions are like elbow-holes, but I just don't see the funk.

Looks a lot like a standard stock to me, albeit a lot thinner, but I do chuckle a little when I read the instructions on its intended use.

I have never OWNED the Sig, so I can only make my assumptions based on a one time use of someone else's gen1, so I don't know what features have been added other than the leas bulky looks and general aesthetics. Maybe its also adjustable now, I honestly don't know. But o think the blade looks pretty sharp(pun intended)
