Does your gun get hot after shooting?

During my days of competition shooting I cooked the loctite out of my compensators several times. Started with red loctite and then went to the green stuff and finally my smith wound up using some sort of epoxy to keep them on. During the days of the red and green loctite I even alternated between 2 pistols and still would eventually cook the loctite. Does that qualify as hot?

My handguns heat up, but i never shoot fast enough/enough at one time to get it so hot it it painful to the touch. Warm? Sure. Hot? Sometimes. Painfully hot? Not that i can remember.

With enough rounds with out sufficient time between shots any gun will get hot. Of the guns I own the Coonan is the worst. It gets hot after a single 7 round mag dump.
