AH....OKAY.

I guess if you live in N. Dakota being on time is important. In Noo Yawk everybody is fashionably late anyway so it don't matter nohow.

We should all go to ZULU time so we all can be on the same time and never get any sleep.

It'll confuse the Chickens and Cows however (This argument was used in the 60's when Georgia first went on DST!)
 
Daylight saving time was originally implemented during World War 1 in an effort to conserve fuel used to generate electricity.

There was no standard for DST till 1966 when the last Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October standard was implemented nationally in the U.S.

Now, four decades later, we have a new standard: the second Sunday in March till the first Sunday in November.

We'll probably have a newly revised standard before the next four decades elapse.
