Wow, for once someone from the forum is exactly like I pictured them.
do YOU think 9mm is underpowerred ?

9mm underpowered?
I don't feel that the 9mm is underpowered. From a strictly energy foot pounds standpoint some 9mm loads are more powerful than some .45 loads. Energy foot pounds doesn't translate to stopping power though. It's whether the energy can be converted to tissue damage in an agressive living target that counts. I think it takes more careful ammunition selection to be reasonably sure that's going to happen with a 9mm that's all. When I carry a 9mm I load it with something like Black Hills 115g+pJHP and I'm pretty sure that given decent shot placement it'll do the job about as well as anything.
