Don't carry or not carry a particular gun because it's expensive -- or cheap ... the only criteria for me is, do I trust it? A gun I often carry in cooler weather is a Kimber 1911, probably the priciest of my carry guns ... My normal EDC is a Kahr PM9, also kinda expensive ... but I also carry a Smith 637 (worth maybe $400) and at home, an NAA Pug (maybe $300). All got into the rotation because I shoot them well and they always go bang ... If I have trouble with a gun at the range, that's where it will spend the rest of its life, if I decide to keep it ... Carrying a bad gun, no matter what it cost, is likely to cost you in the end ...
