Do you carry your gun on you in the house?

I admit it. I don't carry in the house and since I have yet to figure out how to get a CCW where I live- not out of the house, either. I have two secured, strategically placed guns in the house that can be brought into action quickly.

Inside the house there's usually a firearm within reach unless children or large number of guests are around, which is very seldom. Also, wife knows to secure weapons if children show up with guests unannounced. I carry a small weapon (Raven .25, NAA mini .22 WMR, or Davis .38 derringer) when doing yard work or out in the garage.

Wow what a great response! Besides mountaingun, Is anyone else going to admit that they don't? Or am I to believe that everyone does carry?

Sometimes. If it's not on me, it's VERY close at hand. Always if I'm outside.

"Carry" on

Rick

I prefer armed combat to unarmed combat. It's easier on the knuckles.

I carry a firearm everywhere with me (legal or not). Except of course to courthouses airports, schools etc. I also will be 100% ready and able to use it. THIS OF COURSE IS ONLY AS A LAST DITCH MY/FAMILY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT TO UNHOLSTER AND ACQUIRE/FIRE. I have a good lawyer and will deal with legal B.S. after saving myself/family from bodily harm. Find 12 people to convict me!!!, (except, of course, in the Rusty ol' Snothole audience)

Nope, I don't carry indoors.

I have a firearm readily available on each level of the house, and a fully loaded Akita  with me at all times.
