Kevlar,
“... civil people seldom rule. Revolutions were never won by civil people.”
Violent revolution is *exactly* what I am trying to prevent. Common sense
precludes needless bloodshed at this time.
However, if you mean conceptual “revolution” which restores the intent of our Constitution, then I agree.
“... Fast, effective efforts to counter false or inaccurate information...”
*MUST* be civil to be effective. Lack of civility distracts potential RKBA
supporters from our goals. The subject THEN becomes the *delivery* of our
message rather than our message itself.
Civility does not mean weakness. Lack of civility does not mean strength.
-----
All,
HCI has been civil but aggressive, zealous, single-minded, proactive, and
and united. HCI has sided with the government who desires to rule us as
subjects.
RKBA advocates have been fragmented and squabbled among ourselves.
We are distracted by so-called “higher values”. We are reactive (rather
than proactive), and apathetic.
Worst of all, we sell out each other and our Right to Keep and Bear Arms
every time we vote for gun control.
RKBA advocates should be reforming government - we have the power to do
that! But we continue to support the same government people time and
time again. Then, after we vote for those who have *given* us gun control
and who *promise* MORE gun control, we act surprised and offended when
we get gun control.
We continue to lose because we continue to act like losers!
We continue to compromise “just THIS time” or “just one MORE time” - time
and time and time again.
But we get nothing in return but more demands and restrictions. This is not
compromise! We merely give up our Rights in smaller parcels than what
HCI and the government demand and then we foolishly believe we’ve won
something by limiting our losses.
I’m sick of it. I’m sick of making up excuses why we must vote for gun
control to prevent gun control. We are voting our Rights away because
we are too stupid to unite, fight, and win.
It isn’t a lack of civility that we need. Macho posturing and insults will win us nothing but disdain!
We need only to vote for what we know is right and refuse to vote for what
is wrong - but we need to do it as gun owners, as Americans, and as
brothers and sisters in the struggle to Keep and Bear Arms!
But my reply will only prompt the losers to explain why we must again vote
away our Rights. Cow Exhaust! Until we set aside our differences, until we
unite, and until we vote for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, we will
continue to be the losers we have been for decades.

Either you believe in the Second Amendment or you don't.
Stick it to 'em! RKBA!
