Do they make a mouse gun size with a wallop

The Heizer Double Defense comes to mind. Two shot derringer and chambers .45 ACP, very devastating for it's size. Will knock a man down with one well place shot, twice in a row. Has a little compartment that hold two extra rounds stored on a rubber speed strip for rapid reloads. IMHO it's the best pocket gun currently made, about as thick as a tube of chap stick. I own and carry two, both the .45 versions though I think they make them in 9mm which is no slouch with good hollow points.

Oh, and if you are worried 2 isn't enough, don't. Studies have shown that just the presentation of a gun ends some like 95%+ of all potential violent encounters. If you do need to shoot, studies also show needing more than 2-3 rounds is rare. The .45 hits hard even with ball ammo, but doesn't kick terribly bad in the gun allowing good follow up shots. If you feel you must carry more than 2 rounds, do what I did and get a second one. They are so thin and small they can be concealed virtually anywhere.

Mouse guns in Ruger LCP, Kel Tec P3AT, and the like with 357 Magnus performance, no. But if you will settle for 9MM Luger performance, and have fifteen hundred bucks! there is the Rohrbaugh9r.

Since this is the revolver forum, there is a 357 LCR, and people carry them in their pockets.

Oh

I. Carry a glock 23. I also have a. 380 colt government that I am fond of
I was just exploring a small just in case gun that I could play with

Forgot to add the link. I edited my post to add it.
But here is the link to the 223. If you're looking for something to "play" with, and have an extra four bills for a toy I think it would be interesting. Can't imagine what it would be good for, but interesting all the same.

Well one thing maybe. Where there is no such thing as knock down power, this thing would probably disable an attacker by rupturing his ear drums.....But also the shooter's as well!

I don't remember the name, but I do remember seeing ads for decades, for a derringer in calibers up through .44 Mag and .45 Colt. I also remember the ad for their "Alaskan model" a 3" .45-70 (single shot, IIRC).

I don't know if they're still in business, or what, but I'm certain some of those guns must still be around. Most punch in the smallest package I ever heard of.

On the other hand, guns like that HURT on BOTH ends!

I can tell you that the "lowly" .38 Special that is a bunnyphart in a S&W N frame is a sabre tooth hare, with an attitude, in a derringer. It can BITE!

someone on this forum just posted a review of the American derringer 10mm, it performed really well, and kept a thousand FPS. more than you would get from a .357 out of a super short barrel.

whatever you decide on, make sure you look at ballistics by the nch and see what kind of energy to be expected out of your barrel size, the .223 would like be useless, but I do like this
•Case Shell Extractor for fast and smooth tactical reloads:rolleyes:

For extreme pop in a tiny package, you're really looking at derringers. Unfortunately, that means one or two shots at most and it'll kick like a mule. If you are alright with one or two shots and if you can develop the accuracy needed to make those one or two shots count, then this will do. Otherwise, you might want to consider a "normal mouse gun" or bump up a little to 9mm or .38/.357; or a little more to something like the .44 special Bulldog.

Still waiting for a scaled down 5 shot .32 revolver, .32acp would make the most sense for size. It would be significantly thinner than a J frame and would sit nice in a pocket, the same gun could also be made for a 6 or 7 shot .22lr.

Like a. 357 or something along those lines that fit in a pocket something more than a singleshot
Thank you

S&W, Ruger, Charter Arms, Taurus and I don't know who all else right now, all make pocketable .357 snubbies.

You just have to have a big enough pocket. Skinny jeans just won't do.

Dragline, I'm still waiting for a 6-shot LCR in some kind of .32. We should get some coffee. It'll be a while...

At least in your case they wouldn't have to design a whole new gun for that to happen, or you could always opt for a 6 shot .32 J frame in either .327 or .32 H&R Magnum.

You would think though with the popularity of the NAA mini revovlers and .38 snubs they would have something that covers the middle ground, which is where a 5 shot .32 revolver would fit in.
