Do any of you cross dominant shooters have this problem?

I'm cross-dominant (right eye), but naturally shoot righty for some reason. When I DO shoot cross-dominant (left hand), though, I experienced the same thing as you. It did, in the end, come down to a (DA revolver) trigger control issue, even though the groups were tight and I extensively dry fire at home as well. Seems I was pushing the trigger ever so slightly just before the trigger was breaking, but never noticed it or even considered the possibility because of all my dry fire. Very subtle, but real. I don't know if that's what's going on with you, we only threw it out as a possibility, but it's easy enough to check
 
left handed, right eyed

I am left handed, but right eye dominant. I shoot right handed, or left handed.

I'm confused about shooting to the left, or right as it be. If you tweak your sights to shoot where you look, whats the problem. sight your gun in for the way you shoot, not from a fixed rest. Problem solved. You just can't hand your gun sighted in for you and have someone else be accurate with it, but it will work for you.

Now that's a fine idea, and cheaper too!:cool: Yup, depth perception is paramount for shotguns, and the only reason I'm willing to go to these lengths is that I don't like to suck at shooting anything.:D

'Sides, shotgunning is a whole nuther side to the expenses of gunowning I haven't explored.:D
 
I'm left handed left eye dominate but shoot both pistol and rifle right handed anything else feels un-natural. I shoot my bow left handed and shoot really good. When I hold my pistol it feels great in my left hand but when I shoot it left handed I just can't hit worth a crap when I pull the triger everything feels all kinds of "funky" I just don't know why. I just suffer...I feel like I should be able to shoot my pistol left handed but that's just not the case for whatever reason.
