Do All Rifle

Bolt actions are all but useless for self defense.

I would personly go with a quality x39 upper and put a magnified dot optic on it. Perfect for social work and as a game getter out to 300 meters.

I would ask you to observe our current situation in the Middle East where our people with all sorts of technology and top of the line fighting rifles are being pinned down by a couple of guys with iron sighted Mosins and Mausers.

I woulnt trust an AR in 7.62x39 , they seem to not be very reliable.

So not true. Sure, I can't "hose" down a USPSA stage with a bolt gun like a SA, but I can run a bolt gun as fast or faster than the vast majority of people can run a pump shotgun.

Especially if it is set up to be run fast. For example a bolt handle like a Model 70, Springfield, Mauser 98K or Enfield are all very conducive to fast cycling. But bolt actions are in no way useless for self defense.
 
Honestly... for me, the Do it all rifle is called a shotgun.

If you've considered it and rejected it, fair enough.
