Discontinued deals?

This talk about Zenith made me go take a look. CDNN is running Zenith M45 Commander 1911s for $370ish with a holster. As long as standard 1911 parts fit, I wouldnt be too concerned on warranty work as the parts are typically user replaceable.

A Creed for $269 is a great deal for a very good gun with a lifetime warranty. It also comes with 2 mags where the Sat b6p only comes with 1 mag.

When I see a full size like the Creed at that price point, and read positive reviews, I wonder why some will spend more for a Glock 17 or M&P 9? Especially if they don't intend to CC something that size. If it's going to be home defense or a gun you leave in your vehicle, seems like these type of pistols would be a good purchase.

I would rather do a surplus S&W 910 or 915 for the same price. (Available from CDI Sales and probably other places as well.)

SAR makes some good stuff. I have in the neighborhood of 3000 trouble free rounds through my K2P. It takes MecGar cz 75b mags as does the B6P. I've thought about getting the B6P compact for carry. The K2P is a little big for concealment. The Sarsimaz pistols are feature rich for the price and the quality far exceeds what the price suggests.

Here's my K2P from a recent range visit.

SAR and EAA are two different companies. EAA is the importer of the Tanfoglio Witness.

The SAR B69 and EAA (tanfoglio) Witness are not the same gun.

Railroader said that the SAR was "basicly [sic] a clone" of the Witness, not that they were literally the same.

It's widely reported online and at the LGS counter that the SAR is almost identical to the EAA/Tanfoglio Witness Polymer. I don't know personally as I own neither. If this information is incorrect, please enlighten us. :)

Keep watching CDNN. Before long they will have a Smith or Walther for sale about the same price. You checked out the Walther Creed? Its a lot of gun for the money even at regular price.
