Different Types of Collections/Collectors

I've ended up with some I haven't shot yet, not a dozen or so, but a couple because I bought a new gun and the reloading gear/components had not arrived yet. And I just couldn't bring myself to buy factory ammo.

Well... I don't consider myself the owner of most of my guns, more like the caretaker. This is because most of them are family heirlooms past down for generations. Several of them are older than any living member of my family. I don't believe this makes me a collector.

The rest of my guns were either gifts growing up, were bought to fill a specific role or something I just had a fascination with.

Muzzle loading rifles and shotguns. Cap and ball revolvers. I can't get enough of them. Cartridge guns- I have the standard stuff. .38 snub, .22s, AR, Mosin Nagant etc. I enjoy them. But I'd rather shoot black powder weapons. Just something about em.
