Different 45ACP ammo-never seen before

I've shot two boxes of the small pistol primed Federals through one of my .45's...and it's good accurate ammunition. Haven't reloaded any of it as yet, tho keeping it separate is going to be a major PITA. Also, I've not measured the primer flash hole, but it appears to be the same size as a normal round.

Small primers are nothing new in .45. I have seen, over the years, .45 ACP rounds that were quite old loaded with small pistol primers although they aren't to common. Likewise I have seen very old .38 Special rounds that were loaded with large pistol primers.

I have to comment on the issue of Blazers. I have been carrying, shooting and studying for over 40 years. There is no way in heck I would reload aluminum cases. I know some would do so but they are just grandstanding in My opinion. They, cases, aren't strong enough to reload/refire. If you need to prove your 'nuthood' go stand around on the freeway and don't do something so stupid as reload aluminum cases that will also probably destroy a nice handgun.
