Didja ever dump a half pound of Unique on a ceramic floor?

I haven't dropped any large amounts of powder, yet. But I bought a pound of IMR 4895 that a customer had opened and dropped in the store. The clerk used a business card to scrape t up and with it came the dust normally on the floor. I got 3/4 lb for $5.00 and I've used it just like a "clean" batch and can't tell any difference from the added dust (chronoed the same). :D

Worse than powder, many years ago we were surveying out of a cabin 100 miles out of town (road)

As I opened the rear door to take groceries out the Canadian Mist 1.5 L fell out, hit the only rock in the driveway, I couldn't even slurp up the whisky as it was gone in an instant.

The 750 at the local store cost 4x as much as the 1.5 L.

Not that we drank a lot mind you, but after a day of hard digging monument in and bugs and all that, hot tea and whisky was almost mandatory.

Yea I don't drink much these days either, but it was a comfort amidst the always challenging conditions we worked in.

I still feel the pain of that moment, still brings a tear to my eyes.

We liked the good whiskey over our evening cribbage games.

This is a tragedy of earth shattering proportions. Even one spilled beer brings a tear to many eyes, but 1.5 liters of Canadian whiskey? Oh the humanity....
