Beretta is my hands down favorite, Ruger and Smith and Wesson are close seconds. In fact I'm selecting my next gun now and am trying to decide between the KP94 and the KP944. I like auto's best and definitely prefer metal frames. I don't even have a poly frame gun yet, but I may soon with the Ruger SR9 (or maybe an M&P or PX4). As for Taurus, to many iffy reviews for me to try one. The PT92 is a good example IMO, it looks ok until you out it up against the 92FS. Fit, finish, features, the Beretta really makes the Taurus 92 look kind of cheap.
