Did Fred disappoint anyone else tonight in the debate?

It's kind of hard to argue with him on NYC crime, the fact is when he was mayor crime went down. Personally I think it had more to do with socioeconomic factors than anything else, but politicians always take credit for anything good that happens when they are in charge.

As you already mentioned, crime went down nationwide during that time. I actually saw a pretty graph somebody put together of crime rates in LA, NY, Chicago, and...oh, I forget where else...at least one more city. Basically all four cities saw the same general trend.

So Rudy was such a great mayor he reduced crime in other cities, too!
