Did anyone see the lady?

If more protesters/criminals would focus on pulling themselves up by their up by their own boot straps, instead of complaining about and being so POed about how terrible our country is, they'd soon realize that working your butt off to keep the bills paid and food on the table is what's important. Show some personal responsibility.

If you at least trying to earn an honest living, you are too tired to riot.
 
That is the thing Doug, I believe most of these young protestors are at least from middle to upper class standing, with way too much time on thier hands, and thier hands not tied to plow like a lot of people who have to work for a living.

They have been given everything thier whole life and have now entered college and are shocked by life and learn the world is not fair and protest with bad manners and poor hygene.
 
I'm very much opposed to the increasing latitude given to police agencies these days when it comes to no-knock raids and all that, but in situations like this I have to really commend the restraint these officers show. When you see video of the things these "protesters" are doing, I don't know how the officers resist the urge to bust open a few skulls, seriously.

In the words of Garcia from Reno 911, "regular means of restraint were at a failing point, so he then proceeded to buy himself some stick time".

At that point, all bets are off. You should be subdued using
whatever means necessary. The time to argue your expulsion or arrest is in court, not with the officer in the field.
 
Reminds me of all those Republicans who had to be escorted out of the convention in Denver.

And then when those young Republicans were throwing paint and urine and whatever at the Denver delegates!

Oh, yeah. They didn't do that.


Guys, if this isn't the ABSOLUTE BEST reason to vote for McCain, I can't help you out.

Vote McCain! Because it will drive these sickening, ill-mannered people completely over the edge.
 
I can understand the urine and feces tossing and maybe a little bleach and paint, but seriously the youngsters for BO need to show a little respect. Those busted panes of glass and all the dented cop cars, its just stupid. I'm sure the media and the socialist believe this is Bush's' fault too.
 
I was wondering that too. I can't imagine hurling that at my absolute worst enemy, if for no other reason because it would involve actually handling it.

The violent trouble makers are anarchists, not BO supporters. Some might be but that would go against there creed of anti-everything. They are anti-establishment protesters who are against all forms of government. They did the same thing a few weeks ago, at the DNC. The anarchists movement is not as strong in the US, as it is in Europe. If the RNC was happening in any European city, the government would probably would have to declare marshal law to control the crowds. Of course there are plenty of Liberals protesting at the RNC, but they tend to be non violent.

I agree with this. I don't view those "protesters" as representing the Democrats or even legitimate liberal activists. These people are just a rent-a-mob that enjoy any excuse to show off what committed and thought-provoking iconoclasts they all are. Nothing shows an intellectual mastery of your opposition quite like busting shop windows!
