Senior Moment: Can't remember the name for 'Slip Joint Pliers'

In the old days there was a water pump that was rotated when the mounting bracket was loosened; meaning the pump shaft and pulley was not centered in the housing. When rotated the housing acted like an exocentric. Tool companies made wrenches to fit the housing; problem, the span between the jaws were 3 inches +. I have one water pump wrench and have never used it; that does not keep me from looking, when I find one I will try and sell the wrench to the owner of the pump.
And; I have never used water pump pliers on a water pump.
