Detective Special for ankle gun?

I've been carrying a Glock 19 with standard cap mags as an ankle gun for a few years. You get used to the weight.

What holster do you use?

I carry my 27 oz. sp101 every day, have done so for 2 years. Get a GOOD ankle rig, mine is allessi, LOVE it, wouldn't trade it for anything. Very comfortable.

Hey KAM...do what I did. Mine would push up my 60 also. I cut the thread on the bottom just enough to push the end of the barrel through....holds nice and snug now...

another nice thing about a detective special is that it uses the same speed loaders as you m13

thats why alot of us used the DS as a backup when we still carried revolvers
