Democrats are ready to pounce!

I've been trying to think of a Democrat that I like. I can't do it. I guess I would have to think of non politicians to find a democrat i like. I have a friend that is a member of the Demosocialist party. She's cool, I just try not to talk about political issues around her.

I love American politics

because I grew up with the Canadian version
:barf: :barf: :barf: :barf: :barf:
(because 4 :barf: isn't enough)

Democrats I like: Schumer, Feinstein, Boxer, Clinton, Kennedy, et al.
they're so crazy is entertaining, at least it would be if so many didn't take them seriously.
I really miss Howard Metzenbaum, now that was one crazy mo-fo!
And who can forget Ron Dellums? Nuttier than a C-Mas fruitcake!

I dislike several Republicans, you know the kind, the ones that say one thing to their constituents and then do another in Washington, so many to choose from, where to start?.....

UPDATE:

It is STILL raining in the Wabash Valley! Women, minorities and Democrats in sandals are hardest hit. Evil, rich Republicans like KSFreeman, somehow, have umbrellas and those slip on rubber thingies for their dress shoes. Unfair!

I demand to know--WHERE IS GEORGE BUSH? No rescue helicopters have come to save me no matter how many magazines I shoot at them! Bush should send more helicopters!

Later tonight, I may be hungry, AND GEORGE BUSH WILL NOT BE AT MY HOUSE TO COOK ME DINNER!

Bush lied, Kirk is wet and potentially hungry.

KS-
Don't sell out so easy. Head down to Crawford and camp out until he meets with you and explains what he squandered your dinner money on. I suspect Haliburton has it.
Rich

aren't the terms "super delicious" and "fruitcake" mutually exclusive?

Anyway, the best fruitcake is always served from my trebuchet and portioned by a blast from my Browning BPS :D Still want some?

speaking of Christmas so early, I'm getting an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time!

Rich, of course, Haliburton!!! I know it was them even when I had no idea what I was talking about!

UPDATE TO CONTINUING CRISIS IN WABASH VALLEY:

Rain continues, no doubt the work of Cheney and Haliburton's Wether Machine of Death, women and children weep softly, KSFreeman cleaned the bathrooms and then folded laundry while watching a DVD on the world's religions for The Teaching Company. KSFreeman then had to cook his own dinner--salmon and salad from a bag! This suffering knows no bounds.

I demand that someone come and do my work for me! As a minority, a right-handed fielder who bats left-handed, I am entitled to everything just for being born and drawing breath. Someone has to feed me and attend to my every need while I sit on the couch, get fat and complain that the government doesn't care! My life is all YOUR fault! I am entitled--give me, give me, give me!

Meanwhile, the rain continues and my lawn is now as green as Haliburton's bank accounts. The lawn is growing and GEORGE BUSH WILL NOT CUT MY LAWN!

Bu$h lied, Kirk's property values are temporarily negatively impacted.

Zel Miller is a good Democrat. I believe he was even honored by the NRA. Of course he's a hold over from what the Democratic Party used to be. Now, he's a Democrat in name only. Also Strom Thurman started his career as a Democrat but switched parties later.

Did anyone catch the reporter asking Bush if he wasn't "just going to get in the way" of any recovery and rescue operations by being in Texas?

It wasn't a question from a reporter, it was an accusation from a pundit who claimed to be a reporter.

This was his response to the little sod... ""We will make sure that my entourage does not get in the way of people doing their job, which will be search and rescue immediately. Rest assured, I understand that we must not and will not interfere with the important work that will be going forward,"

Not long after, he cancelled the trip to Austin.

People screaming that he wasn't on the ground with flood waters rising around him and dodging flying debris, and other people screaming that he's interfering with ground operations.

Ssdd

Bush is in an absolutely no win situation and the Democrats and others are just waiting to see which direction to attack from.
So how is that any different from the way it's been from day one of his presidency??

SSDD - Same... "Stuff," Different Democrats running him down - business as usual.

I'm glad people are starting to see the humor in the endless complaints of the parasite class now. ;)

BTW, I need a guilty feeling taxpayer to come untie my shoes. I'm ready to have you draw my bath, too.

Details.

He is always in a no win situation because his entire presidency was a total failure.

Thanks for all the supporting details there, Guy.
While everyone appreciates your opinion, if you can't back it up with some fact, this is not the place to post it.
Also, his Presidency is not over yet, as your past tense comment suggests.

If you don't mind, please enlighten as to how it is that every single thing the man has done has been a failure. That is, after all, what you implied.

If you feel that you must bash the President without providing a reason for it, please do so on a board where factual representation is not required.

By the way, welcome to the board. :)

If the Democrats want to play the blame game over Katrina, they'd have their asses handed to them. Blanco and Nagin aren't exactly poster children for good government.
