here in arizona the ccw law is basically same as open carry, same restrictions apply in both scenarios.

I open carried for 20 years, and only just recently applied and recieved a ccw, feels like I'm hiding it now.

Have had my share of run-ins, but usually not with leo's, usually some out of towner, freaked out for seeing a person with a handgun on their hip.
I usually tell them its still the old west, and don't worry about it.
Most are very rude and indiferent to open carry, and try to create problems, I soon got to where they couldn't even get a rise.
One time in an eatery a gal got all over me for carrying, I yelled, "Cut" and told her she just interupted a scene, I watched her for a half hour as she tried to find the cameras.
I giggle hard about that one.
Best bet is move to a more friendly state, but that my be all our problems soon, finding a state allowing us to even maintain our weapons

Bradley, "Just because the sheeple panic and call the police" is
exactly why more people should carry open if allowed to.
Eventually the LEOs will become educated to the state law, and won't
freak everytime a sheeple complains. It's your right to exercise
or loose.
 
I'm confused.... you are complaining because Del is an open

carry state but are afraid to because of what you heard, so you are thinking about moving to Florida... which is not an open carry state?

The only advantage I see to Florida is that you don't have to have a reason to get a CWP... they have to have a reason to turn it down.

then again the real disadvantage to Florida is that half the retired population of the country has moved there and it gets really Hot in the Summer.
