Both are kind of emergency only weapons, but I had a 9mm Bond derringer and sold it; my current dogwalking gun is an NAA Pug ... I found the derringer to be far too heavy, too hard to cock, impossible to grip firmly enough to be fired accurately and way too slow to reload ... the Pug solves all but the last, and still, I have five rounds of 45gr Hornady Critical Defense instead of two rounds of 9mm ... I wouldn't try to defend myself with a derringer unless it was all that was available and I was desperate ...
