Dear Abby

I was under the impression they came from "old money" and were part of High Society from birth. If I'm incorrect, please educate me. I'm not going to waste 10 cents on their autobiographies, though.

No old money or High Society there. The twins were born into a lower-middle class Iowa family, in some small town or other.
They used to be witty when young, now they just embarass themselves daily, in public.

They are ( were ) the Friedman twins of Sioux City Iowa . Graduated Central High . They attract dingbats of all kinds . Abby once got a letter from a woman that complained that her husband fooled around on her so much she was afraid that the child she was carrying wasn't even his .

Our local paper only carries Ann Landers. I wrote to her a couple of weeks ago, but of course I don't expect her to publish the letter. She got a request to publish the "Bill of No Rights" by a congressman named Kaye, which she had run before when it was first popular. She wrote that she'd be happy to run it, because she loved Kaye's common sense, do-it-yourself attitude, but she felt she had to let everyone know that this same congressman had once advocated that teachers be allowed to carry legally concealed weapons at school, and that "frightened" her. I happen to be a schoolteacher so I asked her why she'd be so frightened of me....I'm not an animal, after all. No way in hell it'll ever see the light of day....

You guys don't think those two old biddies really exist, do you? I'll bet you write letters to Sara Lee and Betty Crocker, too. :) :) :)

If you really want some fun, read her archives. She and her staff are incredibly ignorant regarding firearms.

It's a shame, really. She is in a position to educate and help many. Clearly, she only wishes to demonize firearms.

Live and let live. Regards from AZ

They do exist . The biggest thing to hit Sioux City was the Central High School Reunion . They were going to be there and that prompted many apethetic grads to attend . My insurance man was in charge of the details of the Reunion . They are for real , they're just not "for real."
