I got a chipmunk when I was 3, I got to start shooting it when I was 6. I now have a 10/22 (not to mention various other items)
and can usually hit nickles at 50 yards. -Prone position w/scope-
I recently helped teach my three younger sisters how to shoot, and they started with the chipmunk, then the older one moved on to my .257 roberts and bagged her first deer!
