Daughter needs advice

Having her able to post here on her own would not only be a valuable source of info for her but a welcome addition to the TFL family.
(Her holstrer is being shipped in the morning.)

Gunslinger

I was promised a Shortycicle and I want a Shortycicle!

Voila! She now has a password, and her name will be Leviathan (it's a long story). She'll undoubtedly be back in a week or two (still no internet service of her own -- she was given a rather old computer -- does anyone know of free internet service that will work with Windows 3.1?)
P.S. This has not dissolved into off-topic. She is very much into learning as much as she can about firearms and self- and home-defense and would like to be able to keep up with and participate in this board during the week.

One work of caution. If your daughters child in in pre-school she should be careful about caring onto school grounds. Even if she leaves it in the car she might be charged with a felony if the weapon is found or seen. Her work place might also strongly object to a concealed weapon on the premises, I know my work place is VERY ant-gun and having a weapon in my company vehical is grounds for termination.

Bill, Terri, Robert, you guys are awesome.

And a warm welcome to Leviathan. Which by the way is a pretty cool name. :)

Sounds like she has made up her mind about carrying. As to which handgun to choose, find the one that you are comfortable betting your life on. You should be able to conceal, draw it, and be able to fire it accurately.

One other thing. Be sure her child is properly educated about firearms. Don't assume nothing.

Good Luck,
Keith
