I finally was able to pick the rifle up from my LGS. It's going to be heavier than I'll like, I have about 18 ounces to scope it to keep it at 9 lbs even.
The rifle isn't a classic, as I thought. It has one piece bottom metal and the old trigger. So I guess it's the best of both worlds.
