Dangit, Tamara...

RANGE REPORT!!!

slightly more recoil than my .357 Mateba... but VERY managable...

EVERY bit as accurate as my PORTED 8" barrel Dan Wesson target gun, and the Mateba is only a 6" tube...

less muzzle flip than the ported Dan...

all in all, I give this 4 thumbs up... a fun gun to shoot, and if it's possible, it turns more heads than the .357 Mateba, or the Desert Eagle .50...

I'd have gotten more than 60 rounds through it, but I hadta keep stopping to show it to people...

Tamara... get one ordered, you won't be sorry!

Very cool, Hemi!

Do you have a digital camera? It'd be great to see a pic with the two side by side.

Regarding accuracy, have you had any success adjusting your front sight?

Mine came visible set too far left (about a 30/70 split rather than 50/50).

The small screw doesn't have much travel and frankly I don't think it moves anything.

And are those punches or small hex screws holding it?

Well, I can likely BORROW a Digital Camera soon... (all my other pics were from a borrowed camera, but it's in Europe w/ the owner right now)

As for adjustment, I haven't adjusted the windage on either... the .44 is a bit off, but as I'm IN the office with others here, I can't whip it out and look... I'll be dealing with it soon though...

the .357 was a tack driver straight outta the box, so no adjustment was needed....

Johnny Guest-

That Winchester hammer pump shotgun you were trying to recall is the M93. I don't personally know the differences between it and the M97. Just seen pictures, and they look a lot alike.

open tab at dealer...

Heck, Tamara, the last time I called my dealer from here he told me he had just opened the new wing at his shop to hold all the stuff he's working on/building/ordering for me. And I've got guns at dealers in three other states waiting for me. I'm a serious gunniholic and I need help( to make the payments). I even moved out of the country to get away from it all but it didn't help. It only made my phone bill go up.

Thanks for that, Lone Star - - -

I rread an article on it some years ago (About 20!) and recall little about it. Seems as if the M1893 used an older, shorter, shell (2-9/16, I think) and had some problem with the disconnector which was later fixed n the '97.

Anyhow, I appreciate the model number.

Best,
Johnny
