I have upgraded the K1A1 by replacing the collapsible wire butt stock with a more traditional and rigid collapsible butt stock, I added an improved pistol grip and a railed hand guard. The balance of the rifle is greatly improved, the butt stock no longer flexes, the grip is more comfortable and I am finally able to mount and optic on the rifle. I am very happy with the results, but I am considering a folding butt stock that is available.

Those were good days... when you find them the 299.00 rifles are over 4,000.00 today

Having no familiarity with them, the middle rifle in the Top photo reminds me of a Love Child of a CETME L and a 20" Colt AR.

It's always the non-AR features which can have exotic appeal.

Nice Collection! I came close to buying a K2 several times, just decided against it for one reason or another. Regret doing so, as it would have fit nicely in my collection.
